Track the number that matters most.
The truth is, IT firms with the same EBITDA multiple that look the same often get drastically different valuations, and not taking a closer look could cost you millions of dollars when it’s time to sell.
After decades of experience, we’ve gone beyond the standard EBITDA multiples and identified the 24 factors that drive the true economic value of your company.
And with Business Valuation Software from VaaS, we’ve built software that gives you real-time data on the value of your company and gives you personalized recommendations to take your value upward and reach your goals when it’s time to exit.

How It Works
Get started.
Create your VaaS account, connect your accounting software — QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Microsoft Dynamics, or Xero — or securely upload your financials, then answer a detailed list of questions about your company. A guided setup, including instructional videos, keeps you on track the whole way.
Know your value.
A one-hour Strategic Interview with one of our valuators helps us understand what’s behind the numbers: your revenue mix, risks, and long-term goals. From there, we build your baseline off the last five quarters. Then, with the valuation complete, we’ll talk you through the results. You’ll walk out of the meeting knowing what your company’s worth, what’s driving the value, and where the opportunities lie. And with an always-available dashboard, you can check in any moment to get your company’s real-time value.
Watch it fly.
How high can your company’s value go? With quarterly checkpoints that deliver an updated valuation and 3-5 high-priority recommendations, you’ll always have a clear focus on your value and what to work on next. Explore the 24 value drivers to understand what moves your value most, track your growth over time, and lean on our expertise to hit your wealth targets on schedule. Every year-end engagement includes a comprehensive written Calculation of Value report.
FAQs
VaaS is an ongoing subscription service that delivers a recalculated valuation of your IT services or MSP business every quarter, paired with a strategic review call and a dashboard that tracks how your enterprise value changes over time. Rather than receiving a single valuation as a one-time snapshot, VaaS gives owners a continuous, data-driven view of what is driving their company’s worth and how it is trending.
A one-time valuation provides a single point-in-time estimate of company value, typically used for a specific transaction or planning purpose. VaaS provides that same rigor on a recurring quarterly basis, so owners can track quarter-over-quarter changes, see the financial effect of decisions as they are made, and receive ongoing recommendations rather than a single static report.
Onboarding begins with account setup and a secure connection to your financial data, either through an accounting platform integration or a direct upload. You will then complete a guided questionnaire covering operational and risk factors specific to your business, followed by a one-hour strategic interview with a valuator to discuss your financial history, revenue mix, and long-term goals. From there, an initial baseline is established using your most recent quarters of financial history.
After financial data and questionnaire responses are submitted, a valuator generally requires about ten business days to complete adjustments before publishing results. Your first engagement establishes a baseline using your most recently closed quarter along with prior quarters of history, so you can see trend context from day one rather than starting from a single isolated number.
The Financial Review Call takes place after you submit your data each quarter; a valuator reviews your submission, asks clarifying questions, and confirms any adjustments needed before finalizing the valuation. The Delivery of Findings call follows once the valuation is published, where a valuator walks through your calculated value, what is driving it, and a prioritized set of recommendations for the quarter ahead.
Every valuation is built on a structured framework of 24 value drivers, organized across five stages of business maturity, from financial foundation through transaction readiness. Each driver has a measurable, quantified effect on EBITDA multiple, derived from a proprietary dataset of completed MSP valuations. This framework allows iTValuations to show owners not just what their business is worth, but specifically which factors are increasing or limiting that value, and by how much.
The dashboard provides ongoing visibility into the metrics that drive your valuation, including revenue and profitability trends, growth rates, labor efficiency, working capital position, and your EBITDA and revenue multiples. Dashboard access continues throughout your engagement, so you can monitor performance between quarterly review calls rather than waiting for the next valuation cycle.
No. VaaS is designed to work with the financial systems you already use. Data can be connected through a supported accounting platform integration or uploaded directly, and the onboarding process is built to guide you through classification and setup without requiring changes to your existing operations or bookkeeping practices.
Each quarterly review includes a prioritized set of recommendations highlighting the areas of the business with the greatest potential to improve value, based on your specific results across the 24 value drivers. Because the engagement repeats quarterly, you receive a continuous feedback loop: implement a recommendation, see its effect reflected in the next valuation cycle, and adjust priorities accordingly, rather than acting on guesswork.
No. VaaS is built for two distinct groups of owners: those planning an exit within the next several years who want to actively position the business for a transaction, and those with no near-term sale in mind who simply want to build long-term enterprise value and understand their business more clearly. The same quarterly framework and dashboard serve both audiences, with recommendations weighted to each owner’s stated goals.
Ready for takeoff?
Whether you’re contemplating a merger or acquisition, looking to sell, or just want to take out the guesswork, VaaS delivers Business Valuation Software with real-time insights into your company’s true value so you make data-driven decisions that send it to new heights.
