About Us

iT Valuations (iTV) has 12+ years of extensive experience in valuations, mergers, and acquisitions. With over 67+ completed transactions under their belt, iTV founder, Reed Warren, wanted to accomplish more. He knew what it felt like to be denied the full financial worth of his own business efforts. In fact, that’s why he founded iTV: he couldn’t stand watching the same thing happen to other business owners.


Reed started iTV to help owners reap the full value of a lifetime of investment in their companies so they could achieve their personal wealth targets and make the best decisions for their next stage in life. Never is this more apparent than when an owner needs to quickly sell and exit their company after receiving a serious health diagnosis. At the end of a long career, what these owners yearn for most is more time with the ones they love. These are the moments when our mission makes a difference. Fortunately, not all owners are dealt such a hand.

However, most business owners still face a myriad of business challenges when it comes to selling, buying, merging or transferring a partner. Our Team

Reed Warren


Reed is our CEO and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). During his 30+ years working in the IT Services and technology industry, he’s provided business strategy, consulting and M&A services (70+ successful transactions) to over 250 companies across 19 different countries. Though Reed began his career in software development, he quickly moved into recruiting, sales, operations and executive leadership roles. Not only does he have a deep understanding of the technology industry, but he’s also intimately familiar with every level of an organization. With his wealth of knowledge and expert advisory skills, he’s a recognized author and speaker in his field.

Reed’s known for his keen ability to negotiate and find a way for all parties to move forward no matter how challenging the circumstances. This stems from his great capacity for collaboration and ideation. Far and wide, he’s described as creative, agile and seasoned, which all come in handy during the valuation and next steps process.

In his spare time, you’ll find him boating with his wife and three adult sons or camping and hiking. His family also includes a large Maine Coon cat. Though he loves his work, he’s always wanted to be a bush pilot. There’s just something about flying…

Aaron Mahl

Aaron Mahl

 Executive Vice President for Business Development

Aaron is our Executive Vice President for Business Development and has extensive experience in assisting organizations in revenue optimization and business transformation. He began his consulting career in 2013 helping higher education institutions strategically leverage institutional aid to optimize net revenue. Through his time in the education vertical, Aaron was also influential in helping his previous firm launch a new division and was instrumental in leading 5x growth in revenue. Aaron’s key strengths translate seamlessly to the M&A space. His understanding of organizational dynamics and stakeholder perspectives allows him to navigate complex negotiations and craft win-win deal structures. He joined iTV because of his connection to the core values and his desire to continually grow and learn.

Aaron is a lifelong learner and is passionate about education, earning both a masters and a PhD. In his free time, Aaron enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, volunteering at his church, and serving on the board as treasurer of a local little league organization. Aaron is also an avid futbol (soccer) fan and supporter of FC Cincinnati and Liverpool.

Greg Northrop, CPA

Greg Northrop

Director of Tax and Finance

Greg is our Director of Tax and Finance and graduated from Hamline University with a major in accounting and a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Minnesota. He’s a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has been guiding businesses to financial health for many years. Greg worked in public accounting as a Tax Senior Manager, where he specialized in working with businesses and individuals with net worths of more than $3 million.  His goal is to help technology firms determine their economic value, assess and mitigate their income strategies, and develop tax strategies that save them money while increasing profitability. Greg’s core values come from being helpful, kind and understanding while focusing on solving financial problems that create efficiencies.  

When he’s not studying the latest tax laws and valuation trends, he’s busy playing golf, watching sports, and spending time volunteering at his church.  In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, roller blading and doing house projects.  Greg loves hosting others and would love to someday own a property in Dallas, TX that he and his wife can use to host friends and family.

Deanna Heil

Director of Operations

Deanna is our Director of Operations. With a unique educational background in Theology, she knows just how to educate and guide our clients down the right path to fulfill their goals. At first, she intended to go into teaching, but after having four children and an assortment of different careers, she worked her way up into Operations Management. Keeping the back office, systems, tools, and technology running for the iTV team is her top priority, ensuring that they can provide our clients the best customer experience. Her favorite things about working at iTV are the genuine care for team members and clients, the integrity behind all the company’s actions, and not everything is a competition; everyone is always looking out for one another. Deanna is known for her organizational skills, her ability to find new solutions that keep the client happy, her eagerness for new challenges, and her charming sass.

Outside of work, Deanna loves the outdoors, her children and grandchildren, and her faith. She admires her family for who they’ve grown up to be, and if she won the lottery today, she’d take them all on a well-deserved vacation. However, travelling isn’t a new experience for her – she once toured all over the US and Canada in a singing/drama team.

Shelby Clark

Shelby Clark

Business Analyst

Shelby is our Business Analyst and studied psychology as an undergrad. She has extensive work experience with clients in all types of environments, which explains her strengths in multitasking, creativity, flexibility and efficiency. She’s thrilled to work for iTV because of the focus on community and a culture of wellness and connection. She’s known for her determined, loyal and energetic nature and is quick to adapt as workplace and clients’ needs change.

For fun, she enjoys being outside playing sports or board games with her husband, daughter and two sons (who all want a dog). She’s also ready for any spontaneous adventures including traveling (she met and married her husband while living in Greece), dining out or time with friends. Her lifelong goal is to renovate an old school bus for her family to explore both North and South America, together.
